3 Books Every Introvert Should Read
Do you ever feel like most self-help books are a waste of time?
As an introverted book lover, it feels like most books are written for an extroverted world. But, in my journey of reading 100 books in the past 2 years, I’ve found a few gems that will really resonate with your cozy, introverted nature.
These three books helped me transform my life, and they leave you feeling inspired and validated as an introvert:
Book #1: Quiet by Susan Cain
Read this one first!
“Quiet” shows you how to make the most of your introverted strengths, and gives you the tools you need to kick butt in a world that often values extroverts more. Trust me, it’s a game-changer.
Book #2: Deep Work by Cal Newport
“Deep Work” teaches you how to tune out all the distractions and get stuff done by honing your focus and mastering the art of deep work. And the best part? As an introvert, you’re already naturally inclined to do this kind of work, so you’re able to achieve more in less time.
Book #3: The Surrender Experiment by Michael Singer
As introverts, we have an innate tendency to reflect and trust our own inner voice. This book is a fascinating true story of an (introverted) man who let go and did just that: he trusted his inner voice, and the results are nothing short of miraculous. This book inspired me to truly trust my wise guide inside.
