I realized just how much I needed God’s guidance, and strength. When I looked outside of myself for God, I could not find him, but in solitude, I discovered that the spirit of God was lying dormant within me, just waiting to be activated. And when I did I had a true friendship with God. I was alone but I was no longer lonely.
